It all truly began in 2015 with a sweet and simple story...

Hand-sewn sets for a few girlfriends rapidly grew through word-of-mouth to receiving order requests via social media and hosting Pop-Up Shops along the West Coast of British Columbia.

In recent years, Violaa Swimwear has undergone a remarkable transformation, emerging as the distinguished luxury brand you encounter today. Our distinctive offering of a "tailored fit," tailored to individual measurements, sets Violaa Swimwear apart from larger brands. We believe this personalized option is essential to cater to the diverse members of our growing Violaa family, ensuring inclusivity for all.

Fueled by the unwavering support and affection from our local community, Violaa Swimwear has evolved into a beloved brand with a national presence across Canada. Operating as a small, one-woman show, our endeavors are propelled by passion, a sense of community, and, admittedly, a fair amount of caffeine!

Presently, our collections grace the shelves of a prominent swimwear shop in British Columbia and Alberta and plans are underway for expansion into numerous locations. From the styles to the sizing chart, all aspects of Violaa Swimwear have been thoughtfully created with a flattering fit being the top priority. Fabric
Our Fashion Designer, Michelle V., carefully selects each fabric from local businesses across northern America to ensure that our swimwear is both high-quality and eco-friendly. We offer a wide selection of solids and prints for you to order any style in! Have fun creating your custom kini.

Creating
Violaa Swimwear takes great pride in each garment that we create. Every piece is made with the utmost love and care in order to ensure that our quality is at its best. We believe that it is not just about how you look in our swimwear, but also how you feel. We are committed to designing stylish and comfortable swimsuits that will make you feel confident in your own skin.
Packaging
Violaa Swimwear sends all local pick-up orders in 100% recyclable paper bags. At checkout select the "Local Pick up" option if you live in Edmonton AB, and we will contact you when your order is ready to be picked up to schedule a time that's convenient for you.

We also tag our pieces with re-useable safety pins as opposed to plastic single-use hang tags.
